ABOUT BOULDER
SLEEP HEALTH
Boulder Sleep Health was founded to educate, support, and empower adults experiencing sleep challenges. As a healthcare practitioner, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact sleep has on the brain, body, and overall quality of life. Sleep is now recognized as a foundational pillar of health—one that deserves intention, care, and prioritization for both short-term and long-term health.
My work in sleep health is deeply personal. I struggled with sleep from a young age and throughout much of my adult life. It wasn’t until I became a mother that I reached a turning point and realized the importance of truly addressing my own sleep. I dove into the research and started to productively reshape my practices. Once I made sleep a priority, the changes were transformative—improved physical health, increased energy, greater mental clarity, and a more balanced lifestyle. Experiencing these benefits fuels my passion for helping others achieve the same.
As an occupational therapist, I take a client-centered, holistic approach to sleep health, focusing on the root causes of sleep challenges rather than quick fixes. Every client begins with a comprehensive assessment that explores sleep patterns, daily routines, environmental factors, and emotional, cognitive, and physical influences on sleep.
Working with my clients, I create individualized care plans often incorporating the following practices:
Achievable & sustainable goals focused on positive health outcomes
Psychoeducation promoting healthy circadian cycles and homeostatic sleep drive
Recommendations for environmental modifications
Recommendations for behavioral techniques
Collaboration with other healthcare professionals as needed
During sessions, we track progress, review the data, and discuss targeted strategies to address challenges—while ensuring the plan is thoughtfully tailored to fit the client’s lifestyle.
At Boulder Sleep Health, clients gain not only better sleep, but also practical tools and lifelong skills to navigate sleep challenges with confidence.
